Understanding Offering Types

Supertab allows you to monetize your content by using three different types of offerings:

  1. Time Pass: Access to content or services for a limited duration (e.g. hours, days, weeks). You set the access period. After time expires, the user must re-purchase to gain access to your content again.
  2. Subscriptions: Similar to time passes, however a subscription allows recurring access (e.g. monthly, yearly) to your content. It is a atandard subscription model with recurring billing.
  3. Single Item: A one-time purchase (for example for a: digital asset, feature, or download). Users have access to the content for an unlimited amount of time for a single charge.

In all three cases any purchases will still be added to the users tab, regardless of the offering type.
