"Purchase canceled!" Error

Currently (as of November, 2025) there is a compatibility issue with our Paywall and the Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy: same-origin-allow-popups  response header.

If you are trying to make a purchase (after signing) in and you see the SSO page display a generic message "Completing authorization. This window should close automatically in a moment..."


Followed by a "Purchase Canceled!" message in the browser console. It is most likely due to the Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy in place by your webserver.

The Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy: same-origin-allow-popups header will prevent our SSO server from being able to communicate back to Supertab.js  letting our code (hosted on your site) know that the purchase was successful.

Removing this header on pages where the Paywall is installed should remove this error and allow purchases to be made.
